The childhood-themed artwork of seven contemporary artists comes together in the museum area of the Tornielli Palace in Ameno (Novara province): Guglielmo Castelli, Antonio De Luca, Emilia Faro, Leonardo Greco, Paolo Maggis, Roberta Savelli, and Elisabetta Vignato. The pieces chosen for the exhibition are tied strongly together, both in form and content, offering forth expressively figurative painting techniques.
The contemporary artwork is set up around dozens of drawings of children from all around the world, which are part of the PInAC (Aldo Cibaldi of Rezzato’s International Gallery of the Age of Development) Foundation’s collections. The only foundation of its kind, today PInAC features a strong collection of studies based on international character types. The foundation gathers, catalogs, and studies the ways in which children from different countries all around the world express themselves. The famous Corraini edition book-objects and games-for-thought from Mantova and a play-relax area complete the exhibit, thanks to the artistic collaboration of the Ludiko from Omega, visual artists active in the Verbano Cusio Ossola region who regularly investigate the theme of play in the adult world.
