A permanent collection of contemporary art is set up inside the Tornielli Palace Museum and in its immediate vicinity, narrating an intense exchange of experiences between various internationally acclaimed artists and the Cuore Verde tra Due Laghi (Green Heart between Two Lakes) region.
The artwork is all site-specific, created for the Tornielli Museum in its diverse spaces, including a courtyard, staircase, bookshop, corridors, and a place under the stairs.
There is strong synergy among the museum’s displays thanks to explicit interactions between architecture and artwork; the result of this play is not a simple sum of the parts, but rather a united and complete whole, the combination of art and space which succeeds in introducing strong artistic innovations to its visitors.
The artists on display at the Tornielli Museum include Enrica Borghi, Piero Gilardi, Angelo Molinari, Paka, and Johannes Pfeiffer.
The permanent collection can be seen only by appointment.
Artists whose work will be displayed shortly: Fausta Squattriti, , Francesca Gagliardi, Benoit Maria Bouhier, Antonio De Luca, Claudia Steiner, Bastiaan Arler, Gec-Art and many others.
