“...a more general reflection that has forced us to consider how even today water is an asset to humanity, essential to its survival. Insufficient access to water is one of the biggest causes of the abysmal misery of the third world. This desperate need for water forms the foundation for many beliefs, myths, and legends that reflect the need in their artistic representations, from every different type of civilization and ethnicity...” (Piero Gilardi – Tea Taramino)

The exhibit consists of five installations that snake around the first museum rooms, creating an absorbing and inviting path. Visitors get to participate actively in the works of art as they come to fruition. Some of the works on exhibit were created for the Cavassa House civic museum in Saluzzo.

The water theme comes up again in Ameno, on Lake Orta, in an interpretation of the spirit of the place. The exhibition includes another two interactive exhibitions, “Corvino (Jet-black)” and “Affacciandosi al profondo (Looking out into the depths)”, which represent the possibility of symbolic fruition of the splendid natural setting that encircles the small built-up area. The last two rooms of the museum are dedicated to an exhibition of artwork created during the “Terra Cruda (Clay Sculpting)” workshop held by Tea Taramino.
